About Dana:
Dana has four years of experience in college counseling and navigating the financial aid process. Her passion for college counseling shines through in any related conversation, but her favorite part of the college admissions process is helping a student build a well-rounded list of colleges and universities.
Dana has helped over 150 students through the college admissions process, yielding over 400 college acceptances, including five from Ivy League universities. Dana has helped high school students receive approximately $6 million in financial aid for college.
Born and raised in Upstate New York, Dana attended a local public high school before starting her college career. She understands the stress and struggles of a transfer student, as she attended four colleges in New York State before receiving her Bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in criminal justice from SUNY Oneonta. Immersing herself in everything the campus has to offer, Dana grew as a leader on campus as the Editor in Chief for Oneonta Odyssey, Secretary for the Class of 2017, Secretary and Events Coordinator for Oneonta National Alliance on Mental Illness, and a member of the executive board for her dorm building.
Currently, Dana is working towards her Master’s in Higher Education Administration and Leadership at Purdue University, and a graduate certificate in College Counseling through UCLA. In her spare time, Dana is always looking for new places to explore in New York City with her friends and family.
Dana is based in the Manhattan, New York area and serves clients in-person in the New York Metro area and online nationally.
