About Kevin
Kevin has more than four years of experience as a College Admissions Consultant and SAT/ACT Tutor. He is especially passionate about helping high school students write engaging and reflective college essays, helping them select best-fit schools for their college lists, and working with transfer students. More recently, Kevin joined the Firat Education team in November 2019.
Kevin has helped more than 200 students through the college admissions process, yielding over 1,000 college acceptances, including 20 from Ivy League universities and 3 from international universities. Kevin has visited over 30 colleges and helped high schools students receive over $500,000 in financial aid for college.
A native of Western Massachusetts, Kevin attended a public high school before starting his college career at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a rising junior, Kevin transferred to Cornell University. He graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in History from Cornell in 2016. At Cornell, Kevin was a Senior Editor for the reputable undergraduate history journal Ezra’s Archives. He was also the Vice President of Cornell Historical Society. Capitalizing on his limited athleticism, Kevin was also on the Men’s Club Fencing Team, where he was elected as the Captain of the Saber Squad and Social Chair.
In December 2018, Kevin obtained an M.A. in History from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Currently, he is a Ph.D. student at Boston College. Kevin’s dissertation research is on religious missions, war, and Euro-Native intercultural relations in Colonial Maine and New Hampshire. Kevin looks forward to serving as a Graduate Administrative Assistant for the MBA program at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management this summer! in In his spare time, Kevin enjoys ultimate frisbee and “quality time” with family and friends.
Kevin is based in the Boston Area and serves clients in-person in the Boston Area and online nationally.

Kevin is a Senior College Admissions Consultant who will:
- Fully assess your student to identify: Personality traits, career matches, academic strengths, learning skills and styles
- Prepare an individually custom-tailored college preparation plan and academic curriculum to achieve your desired results
- Provide personalized college counseling and advising services
- Guide and help you with every step of the college application process, including college essay preparation, resume building, interviews, and campus visits.
The College and Career Assessment is a a three session assessment of personality, interests, skills and abilities in order to identify the most fitting careers, college majors and up to 30 colleges based on size, location, academics, and extracurriculars that are best fit for the student.
If your student is not satisfied with his or her college and major list, Kevin will work with your student to develop a new list that he or she feels confident about while also considering college compatibility.
